Northern Lights

 While little is know of the affairs of the Gods, we do know that Earth and Asgard, the home of the Gods, are connected by an enormous bridge that the Gods can traverse.

 This bridge can be seen in the north and we call it the northern lights. 

 This unique northern lights piece is hand made on a Jacquard loom with glow in the dark polyester thread. When it gets the right light it will glow green.

This work was part of an exhibition of the artist named: Nordic Fibers. Exhibition of textile pieces, created from photographs taken in different northern regions. Weaving was done on a loom Jacquard weaving machine, at the Maison des Métiers d'Art in Quebec.

Bien que l'on en sache peu sur l'affaires des dieux, nous savons que la Terre et

Asgard, la maison des Dieux, sont reliés par un énorme pont que les Dieux peuvent traverser. Ce pont est visible au nord et nous l'appelons les Aurores Boréales.

Cette pièce unique d'aurores boréales est fabriquée à la main sur un métier à tisser Jacques avec un fil polyester qui brille dans le noir revêtant la teinte verte des aurores dans le ciel. 

Cet oeuvre a fait partie d'une exposition de l'artiste
nommé : Fibres Nordiques. Exposition de pièces textiles,
créées à partir de photographies prises dans différentes
régions nordiques. Le tissage a été effectué sur un métier
à tisser Jacquard, à la Maison des Métiers d'Art de Québec.
