Thor's Hammer Mjolnir

Thor’s hammer was certainly a weapon, but it was more than just a weapon. It also occupied a central role in rituals of consecration and hallowing.

Thor once killed and ate his goats, then brought them back to life by hallowing their bones with his hammer.

Historian Hilda Roderick Ellis Davidson provides an excellent summary of the uses of the hammer:

It would seem indeed as though the power of the thunder god, symbolized by his hammer, extended over all that had to do with the well-being of the community. It covered birth, marriage, and death, burial, and cremation ceremonies, weapons and feasting, travelling, land-taking, and the making of oaths between men. The famous weapon of Thor was not only the symbol of the destructive power of the storm, and of fire from heaven, but also a protection against the forces of evil and violence. Without it Asgard could no longer be guarded against the giants, and men relied on it also to give security and to support the rule of law.

Now, each one of these is hand forged here in St Raymond QC by active and former Canadian Forces Soldiers.

Made at Atelier Du Vieux Corbeau by members taking part in courses and therapy sessions and instructed by a former Warrant Officer with the CF.

Each one of these pendants is unique and have had the blood, sweat, tears and love of the creator poured into each one. 

By wearing these you not only show your faith in the Gods, but also have the protection of Thor.  

 You won't only get comments on these when wearing them but knowing the time, energy and love that went into them from the start of the forging process, it'll be like someone is there watching over you as well.
