Squash, Winter Zeppelin Delicata

Heirloom variety dating back to c. 1894, this is one of the oldest varieties available. Delicata has always been one of my favourites with a sweet nutty flavor and crispy skin. A great squash for roasting, think roasted squash fries. This squash shows a beautiful green striping on ivory cream making it an eye-catcher at the market as well as on the table. Vining habit.
